Royal Australian Air Force: E-7A completed 553 missions, with the KC-30A flying 1439 missions Iraq, Syria
Royal Australian Air Force E-7A Wedgetail and KC- 30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport aircraft are returning to Australia following the final mission of a successful year-long deployment, Inherent Resolve, DOD Australian Defense Force reported.
The aircraft have been operating in the Middle East Region as part of Australia’s Air Task Group 630. While deployed, they performed airborne command and control and air-to-air refueling missions.
Over the course of their deployment the E-7A completed 553 missions, with the KC-30A flying 1439 missions delivering more than 100,000 pounds of fuel.
