Parents of 15 year old who opened fire at school, killing 4, charged with Involuntary Manslaughter
A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert has been issued for James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of Ethan Crumbley, the accused Oxford High School shooter. They are wanted on charges of Involuntary Manslaughter.The Crumbleys are driving a black 2021 Kia Seltos SUV with the Michigan Plate DQG 5203. Please call 911 immediately if you have information about their whereabouts.
The Manhunt has apparently ended with the two agreeing to face charges

James Crumbley has been charged with (4) counts of Involuntary Manslaughter. Jennifer Crumbley has been charged with (4) counts of Involuntary Manslaughter.
BACKGROUND
A 15 year old walked into a school and started shooting up students. Four have died.
Oxford High School Shooting Update All from the Sheriff, DA’s Office
We responded to an active shooter at Oxford High School in Oxford Township at 12:55PM. At this time, it is still an active scene. We have multiple patrol units and multiple EMS units on scene along with SWAT and Aviation Unit.
We have one suspected shooter in custody along with a handgun. We do not believe there are any other at this time. There are multiple victims (4-6).
A 15-year-old sophomore student of Oxford High School has been taken into custody and the handgun was recovered. There was no resistance during the arrest and the suspect has asked for a lawyer and has not made any statements as to a motive.
Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has issued the following charges against the 15-year-old suspect, who will be charged as an adult: – (1) Count of Terrorism Causing Death- (4) Counts of First-Degree Murder- (7) Counts of Assault with Intent to Murder- (12) Counts of Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a FelonyAdditional charges may be forthcoming pending the results of the full investigation.
Update #3: Oxford High School Shooting. The three individuals who are deceased have been identified as a 16-year-old male, a 14-year-old female, and a 17 year-old female. The number of those who are currently being given treatment for gun shot wounds is up to 8 victims. They are being treated at various local hospitals. Six are in stable condition and two others are in surgery. The 15-year-old suspect has now been lodged at Oakland County Children’s Village due to him being a juvenile.
The victims who have lost their lives have been identified as Tate Myre, a 16-year-old student, Hana St. Julian, a 14-year-old student, and Madisyn Baldwin, a 17-year-old student. One more died in hospital, to be identified.

A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence and is being inventoried. The firearm used was a 9mm Sig Sauer and had been purchased by the father four days prior to the incident. There was no prior information shared with the Sheriff’s Office or the School Resource Officer before the incident.
Three victims remain hospitalized at this time. Four have been treated and released. The suspect is due to be arraigned later today on the charges authorized earlier by the Prosecutor and a request has been made to have him transferred from Children’s Village to the Oakland County Jail. It was discovered the suspect had 18 live rounds on his person when he was taken into custody. Three magazines were recovered at the scene. Thirty spent rounds were found at the scene.
I just left Oxford high school after a detailed walk-through and examination of the scene and evidence. As I reflect on the day, it is one that is filled with overwhelming sadness. My heart aches for families that will never be the same and a quiet sweet community that had its innocence shattered. I have seen far too many bodies and death in my career, but children’s are always the worst. I am super proud of our team as they continue to work through the night and I know the work they did this day saved lives. It is also evident from the scene that the lockdown protocols, training, and equipment Oxford schools had in place saved lives as well.
