American Indian activist Dennis Banks laid to rest by Leech Lake

Dennis Banks, co-founder of the American Indian Movement, was laid to rest Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, with ceremony, song and prayer at Battle Point Cemetery near the Leech Lake town where he was born. Banks died Oct. 29 at age 80.
