City Council Member Dai Thao and his colleagues acknowledged Wednesday that they cannot do that, even if they don’t like what he has to say about immigrants, refugees and Muslims. But, by a 6-1 vote, the council told the outspoken presidential candidate who leads the Republican field that they “condemn” his “anti-Muslim, anti-refugee and anti-immigrant speech.”

The injury report is out and the unexpected injury of the week is Everson Griffen’s shoulder, which caused the starting right defensive end to miss all of practice today. Not practicing besides Griffen were nose tackle Linval Joseph (foot), linebacker Anthony Barr (groin/hand) and defensive end Scott Crichton (concussion/neck). Limited in practice were free safety Harrison Smith (knee/hamstring), strong safety Andrew Sendejo (knee) and linebacker Brandon Watts (rib). On the injury report with full participation is safety Robert Blanton (knee).
