Governor says Alabama 'working' to avoid prison lawsuit

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey on Monday convened a new criminal justice study commission as the state tries to address its troubled corrections system and said the state is working to avoid a Department of Justice lawsuit over prison conditions.
