Several hundred people marched in the silent Homeless Memorial March carrying signs that recognized the 190 homeless, previously homeless and advocates for the homeless that died in 2019 on Thursday, December 19, 2019 through downtown Minneapolis, Minn. Earlier in the day, Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan announced the launch of a public-private partnership to reduce unsheltered homelessness in Minnesota this winter.
