National Senior Games athlete injured during shot put

Earl Blassingame, of McKinney, Texas, fell while throwing a shot-put at the senior Olympic games in Blaine earlier this summer. He shattered his elbow, shoulder, broke his hip and got a steel rod in his thigh.
