Firefighters are at greater risk of cancer. Minneapolis hopes saunas in stations might help.

The Minneapolis Fire Department has added saunas in five of its stations so far as a way to protect its firefighters’ health. A study is ongoing to determine if the saunas can help remove cancer-causing compounds before they are absorbed.
