Community members came to Beth El Synagogue to hear Rev. Patrick Desbois speak on International Holocaust Remberance Day. Desbois has has spent the past decade investigating an aspect of the holocaust long overlooked -- the murder of some 2 million Jews in their own villages across eastern Europe, not in the concentration camps so well known. He leads a 27 person team, that has uncovered 2,000 execution sites, interviewed 5,000 witnesses.
