Somali-American restaurant owners in Minnesota have decided to raise funds by donating a portion of their sales from April 7 directly to support famine relief efforts. Nearly a million children could starve to death as famine conditions grip Somalia, South Sudan and Nigeria. Drought, made worse with political upheaval and war, has fueled a humanitarian crisis that threatens the lives of 20 million people.
