Woman stabbed on CTA Blue Line on West Side
A woman is recovering in fair condition at a hospital after being stabbed aboard a CTA Blue Line train early Thursday on the West Side.
Around 12:35 a.m., the 21-year-old woman was on a train in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue when multiple males began arguing with her, Chicago police said.
The argument became physical and one of the males stabbed the woman multiple times in the body, police said.
The woman left the train at the Oak Park stop and was taken to the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where she was in fair condition, officials said.
No one was in custody.
