Man killed in East Garfield Park crash, 1 in custody
A man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning in East Garfield Park.
The man, 30, was stopped at a traffic light when his car was rear-ended by a 42-year-old man driving a black Dodge SUV in the 2600 block of West Warren Boulevard around 1:50 a.m., Chicago police said.
The man, who was traveling in a grey Hyundai sedan, suffered injuries to the body and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn't been released.
The 42-year-old was taken into custody and charges were pending, police said.
