Bears-Bengals inactives: Bengals QB Joe Flacco will start, Jake Browning is backup

CINCINNATI — The Bengals will have quarterback Joe Flacco against the Bears on Sunday, but they'll be without star pass rusher Trey Hendrickson.

Flacco was out of practice this week with a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder and was questionable on the injury report. The Bengals will have Jake Browning available if he ends up not being able to get through the game, and former Packers quarterback Sean Clifford is inactive and designated as the emergency third quarterback.

The Bears, meanwhile, are playing without some key players. Not only are top cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon on injured reserve, but running back D'Andre Swift is out with a groin injury. The rushing attack figures to center on rookie Kyle Monangai and practice-squad running back Brittain Brown. Travis Homer is active as well, but plays predominantly on special teams.
