Nice Try, Kris
On Tuesday, in what was later confirmed to be an advertising stunt, Mac Cosmetics posted a watermarked headshot of Kris Jenner with a bitchy little updo and her signature cutting smirk that has surely made many a Hollywood assistant piss their pants. Per “Page Six,” the 69-year-old commented on the since-deleted post, writing, “Check your dms right now. Who leaked this??” Makeup promo or not, a demand like that from the Kardashian matriarch would put the fear of God in me.
Hours later, Mac dropped a follow-up video on Instagram, in which Jenner’s clacking her black patent pumps around a set dressed like an office blabbering, “What do you mean that photo got leaked? You can’t do one thing right?” Then, in the vein of Lisa Barlow’s infamous “I want to go the distance on it” call, Jenner yells, “Get the attorney on the phone.” In an attempt at coyness, Mac captioned the video, “This is a case for the FBI …” Weird timing for that joke, but anyway …
I’m not at all surprised that just four months after her much-talked about facelift surgery, Jenner’s already putting that new face to work in an ad campaign. Can you blame her? I’d want to recoup the money immediately, too. One thing about Kris? She’s always going to get her bag.
