Tom Holland Got a Concussion on the Set of Spider-Man
On Friday, Tom Holland was briefly hospitalized for a mild concussion while filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Per the Daily Mail, the injury was the result of a stunt gone wrong. No one else was said to have been injured.
Fortunately, the concussion was reportedly not serious, and it looks like Holland was up and moving by the following evening. He made an appearance with his fiancée, Zendaya, at a charity event in London on Saturday. Photos taken at the event, which were posted by attendees, showed Holland smiling in a tuxedo. Meanwhile, filming has reportedly been paused while Holland recovers from the head injury.
Holland is expected to return to filming soon; Sony, which is developing the movie, is reportedly meeting on Monday to discuss next steps. Here’s to hoping the future Mr. Zendaya is feeling better and can get back to swinging through England in a skintight suit very soon.
