J.Lo Is Talking About Ben Affleck Again
Divorce has been good to Jennifer Lopez, according to Jennifer Lopez. On Sunday, the singer appeared on CBS News’ Sunday Mornings, where she sat down to discuss her upcoming role in Kiss of the Spider Woman. Towards the end of the 35-minute interview, J.Lo touched on her divorce from Ben Affleck, who is also a producer on the film.
“It was the best thing that ever happened to me because it changed me,” she said. J.Lo then corrected herself and said the dissolution of Bennifer 2.0 didn’t actually change her, it instead helped her grow and “become more self-aware.” “I’m a different person now than I was last year, a year and a half ago.”
She went on to say that this past summer was probably the best one she’s ever had. You know what? I believe her! J.Lo has been taking advantage of her newfound freedom, making out with her backup dancers and allegedly reconnecting with Leah Remini thanks to their respective divorces. She said she’s been able to “enjoy things more” because she doesn’t “have as much pressure.” Sounds like the recipe for a perfect post-divorce summer.
This has been J.Lo’s fourth divorce, and it appears that she’s giving up on marriage for good. Back in July, a fan held up a sign at her concert in Bilbao, Spain that read, “J.Lo, marry me?” “I think I’m done with that,” she replied. Spoken like a healed woman.
