Pamela Anderson Is a Redhead Now
Pamela Anderson, who has mostly been blonde since she appeared on that jumbotron in 1989, is a redhead now. The actress debuted her coppery hair on the eve of Paris Fashion Week at a Condé Nast gathering celebrating Chloe Malle’s new role as head of editorial content at Vogue and Mark Guiducci’s as the global editorial director at Vanity Fair. Who says nothing exciting happens at media parties?
Besides dyeing her hair an autumn-appropriate color, Anderson also did away with her little bob, replacing it with a shaggy mullet. Photographer Marco Bahler shared the first images of the new redhead to his Instagram, correctly writing, “Pamela looking fabulous with her new hair.” According to Vogue, this look is in preparation for her upcoming role in the film Love Is Not the Answer, an “absurdist comedy” directed by Michael Cera. The script must be good if Cera got a woman who’s been blonde for upward of 40 years to ditch the bleach.
Of course, this is not the first time Anderson has rolled out a new beauty look at Paris Fashion Week. In 2023, all anyone could talk about was how she went makeup free for every event, which ended up landing her a job as the co-founder and owner of a vegan skin-care company. If any hair-dye brands were thinking about offering her a gig, they better act fast.
