Jennifer Lawrence Can’t Wait to Get a Boob Job
In a new profile for The New Yorker, Jennifer Lawrence got candid about motherhood, from her experience navigating postpartum anxiety — things got a lot better when she started taking Zurzuvae — to asking ChatGPT about breastfeeding. Lawrence, who had her second baby this spring, also shared that she’s ready to get a boob job.
The topic apparently came up while Lawrence was discussing her nicotine habit. Lawrence told writer Jia Tolentino that she vapes “constantly,” but said she’d need to stop soon because she’s planning to have her boobs done in November. (“Nicotine constricts blood vessels — bad for healing,” Tolentino notes.) Recalling an envy-inducing nude scene Lawrence filmed for No Hard Feelings after her first son was born, Tolentino asked her why she was getting the procedure. “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” Lawrence explained. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
Lawrence has another nude scene coming up next spring — but even if she weren’t a famous actress, she says she’d still want the surgery. “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she said. “But I think yes.” She also took the opportunity to share her opinions on a few other cosmetic procedures. In the past, Lawrence has shot down speculation about plastic surgery, attributing changes in her appearance to makeup and aging. Speaking with Tolentino, she said she avoids filler but gets Botox, clarifying that she still needs to be able to use her forehead to act. When asked if — like much of Hollywood — she’s gotten a deep-plane face-lift, Lawrence said no. But, she added, “Believe me, I’m gonna!”
