Tottenham and Liverpool will contest the finals of the UEFA Champions League on the 1st of June at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid after both sides produced dramatic comebacks in the second leg.
While Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 in Anfield after losing the first leg 3-0 to the Spanish giants, Spurs overcame a three-goal deficit in a single half against Ajax, to progress on away goals.
Neither Jurgen Klopp nor Mauricio Pochettino has won any silverware during their time in England, but they will now have battle it out for the honour of claiming the most prestigious trophy in European football.
A merchandising company, Zavvi organized a competition and promised the winner an all-expense paid trip to watch the Champions League final in Madrid. However, the company made an error as it told every entrant into the competition that they had won the prize (Standard).
The company thus had to issue an apology for its earlier mistake. Read the full statement below:
We are very sorry to all those who received our competition email in error today, please find an update here: https://t.co/nqbANMj35K

However, some Spurs and Liverpool fans certainly didn’t forgive Zavvi for filling them with unnecessary false hope.
A 15% discount? You've told me I won a once in a lifetime trip worth thousands of pounds and the only way I'm getting any sort of compensation for your error, is by spending more money?! I'm suing for damages!!!

Spurs Web Opinion
There can be a few feelings worse than being told you have won a chance to watch your team play live in the biggest game in their history, only for it be retracted again.
There will no doubt be a mad scramble for tickets in Madrid, and many thousands of fans will probably make the trip regardless of whether they get tickets are not.
We at Spurs Web fully encourage everyone who can make it do so. Let’s make Madrid’s streets Lillywhite for the day.
