Despite how consistent Harry Kane has been for club and country over the past five years, the England captain still arguably doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
The 25-year-old continues to have his detractors despite repeatedly proving his doubters wrong on the pitch.
The Spurs striker continues to maintain his astonishing strike rate while his game outside the penalty box has also come on leaps and bounds in the past few years.
In fact, it is no stretch at all to say that Kane is now the most complete centre forward on the planet.
The Tottenham man once again made the shortlist of players nominated for the ‘Best FIFA Men’s Player 2019’ award and he was in some great company.

In fact, the Spurs No.10 has made the list yet again despite spending considerable time on the treatment table for the second consecutive season.
Kane missed some important Premier League and Champions League games for Spurs towards the end of last season after picking up multiple ankle injuries.
Stunningly, the Tottenham vice-captain is the only player apart from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to have been nominated for the award for the third consecutive season.
Only three players have been nominated for FIFA's Best Men's Player of the Year award in the last three years – 2017, 2018 + 2019.

Kane will certainly not take the award home this time out but the fact that he is the only player apart from Messi and Ronaldo to be nominated for the third consecutive year shows how consistent he is. If he manages to stay fit next season, we are likely to see him bag another 30+ goals.
