With the international fixtures all done and dusted, the Premier League is set to resume again this weekend. Tottenham will take on high flying Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Palace have made a fantastic start to the season and currently find themselves in 4th place with 7 points on the board. Spurs meanwhile have made a less than ideal start to the season with just one win out of their first four matches.
Tottenham fans were hoping that the international break would give some of their stars time to recover from their injury problems and the club has provided a positive update today regarding several players’ fitness.
Spurs revealed today that Kyle Walker-Peters, Eric Dier, Tanguy Ndombele and Ryan Sessegnon have all returned to first-team training and will be assessed ahead of the match on Saturday.
It was confirmed however that Juan Foyth and Giovani Lo Celso are both ruled out with the latter injuring his hip on international duty with Argentina. Davinson Sanchez also joins the pair on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
Some Spurs were delighted with the news regarding Ndombele and hoped that the French international will be fit enough to start the game.

Good to hear Tanguy and Sess are fit. Sanchez being out is bad but it does mean we’ll definitely play Jan and Toby next to each other. Overall good news (apart from Gio)

Spurs Web Opinion:
Ndombele certainly showed glimpses of real quality in the opening two games of the season and losing him to an injury was a major blow. Hopefully, the 22-year-old now get some games under his belt and get accustomed to the Premier League. While the injury to Lo Celso is a set back for the side, Spurs are pretty well stocked in the creative department the likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, and Erik Lamela all fit.
