Tottenham Hotspur take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday as they look to follow up their loss on Merseyside last weekend with a win at the second attempt.
Spurs lost 2-1 to Liverpool despite taking the lead inside the first minute when Harry Kane headed home a deflected Sonny cross that came back off the bar.
Unfortunately, this defeat saw Tottenham slip into the bottom half of the Premier League table, joining their next opponents Everton.
Spurs are 11th with 12 points from ten games, while Everton are down in 16th after recording just a point a game this season in the league.
A win for Tottenham could kickstart their season again and make up ground on those top four spots, but a loss would see Everton leapfrog the North London side.
Everton manager, Marco Silva, who is under plenty of pressure himself at the moment, heaped praise on Spurs ahead of the match.
He said (Liverpool Echo): “They played the Champions League final last season and didn’t lose many players.
“They have fantastic players and a fantastic manager.
“We look at Tottenham as a strong side with really high quality and international players at their best. For me, it will be a tough one. With Goodison as the 12th player, we can win the game.”
More on Spurs: “They made fantastic signings, they have a very good manager and it will always be tough to play against Tottenham. In our best level with Goodison being the 12th player, we can win the game. We have full confidence in ourselves.”
