Tottenham Hotspur will likely need to raise some funds for new transfers in the summer window, especially if they fail to qualify for the next season’s Champions League.
With Christian Eriksen and Victor Wanyama both offloaded in the past couple of months, we thought we would name the five Spurs players who should follow them out the door.

Serge Aurier
Probably Tottenham’s most improved player this season, but I would still argue that he cancels out his good work going forward with his consistently shoddy defending. Spurs need a long-term option at right-back and Aurier won’t play second fiddle, so he needs to be sold.

Juan Foyth
Clearly not a favourite under Mourinho, Foyth has struggled for game time of late. With the emergence of Japhet Tanganga, Dier moving to central defence, and Alderweireld signing a new deal, I’m afraid that the door has been shut on Foyth.

Danny Rose
The career of Danny Rose at Tottenham appears to coming to an end and how unfortunate that it may finish on a sour note. The left-back was loaned out to Newcastle in January and I somehow doubt he will play for the club again. However, he should be applauded for 12 years of service.
![Kyle Walker-Peters](https://www.spurs-web.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/kwp-1024x704.jpg)
Kyle Walker-Peters
Not quite good enough I’m afraid. The academy graduate would likely slot in nicely to a smaller Premier League club or Championship team. Perhaps Spurs can use him as part of a deal for someone like Norwich’s Max Aarons.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
The USA international is finally enjoying a successful loan spell at Luton after a tough stint at Stoke prior to January. He should take advantage and look to seal a permanent move, because I’m afraid there is no route through to the first-team at Spurs for him with the likes of Japhet Tanganga showing that there is greater potential within the academy ranks.
