Some Tottenham fans are concerned that Harry Kane might be rushed back too quickly after it was reported that the club are optimistic the striker could make a swift return to action.
Kane’s importance the Tottenham side cannot be overestimated as the 27-year-old has also become the side’s main creative outlet this season to add to his goal-scoring prowess.
Tottenham struggled to create anything of note in the second half against Liverpool after the striker went off during the interval, which demonstrated how crucial he is to the current set-up.
The Telegraph reported yesterday that the England captain is not in as much pain as he was when he previously injured his ankle in 2016 and 2019.
Although the striker is yet to have a scan as his ankles are still swollen, the report claimed that Spurs are hopeful he can make a fairly swift return.
While some Spurs fans were delighted with the news, others warned the club not to rush the striker back and cause him to aggravate his injury.
Dont rush him back. Let the guy heal properly

Here we go, yet another injury he will come back far too early and play dreadful rather than just wait a couple of weeks longer

Normally when he gets them he knows straight away snd goes straight down the tunnel. Played on with both of them last night. In any case should rest him for a couple of weeks at least

Everton would be nice but it shouldn’t come to this that we have to rush him back , we bought Vinicius for this reason so play him

Don’t hurry. It’s better to make him recover fully rather than bring back too quickly and get another injury

Great news! Don’t force him back tho

Spurs Web Opinion
We have much more cover in attacking areas than we have had for the past five seasons and so one would think we should be able to cope better with Kane’s loss.
However, it is also true that we are much more reliant on the 27-year-old than we were in previous campaigns due to the system we play.
I am hopeful that the striker will be back in two or three weeks because of the way he soldiered on and completed the first-half rather than coming off as soon as he picked up the injury.
