Harry Kane has taken to social media to express his delight at Tottenham’s ruthless performance as Spurs thrashed Burnley 4-0 this afternoon.
Jose Mourinho decided to start with a front four of Lucas Moura, Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane for the match, with Moura and Bale being rewarded for their good form in recent weeks.
Both players got on the scoresheet, with Bale opening the scoring with little over a minute gone on the clock before producing a sweet left-footed strike into the far corner in the second half while Moura also took his goal with aplomb.
Kane also found the back of the net, with his first-half strike taking a deflection and sailing into the back of the net past Nick Pope after the England captain was picked up by a pin-point ball over the top by Bale.
Kane could have had a couple more goals had he been at his ruthless best in front of goal but the striker certainly produced another fantastic all-round display.
Here’s how Kane, Bale, Sanchez and Hojbjerg reacted to the 4-0 win:

Spurs Web Opinion
I felt that a lot of the reaction to our defeat against West Ham last week was extremely harsh as not too many sides have gone to the London Stadium and played as well as we did this season, particularly in the second half. We got a just reward for our performance this afternoon and we could have quite easily scored a couple more to make the scoreline even more emphatic.
