Graham Roberts has taken to social media to praise Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura for their recent performances as well as their attitude.
Lamela has been in fantastic form since returning from his injury lay off, featuring both as a number ten as well as on the right-hand side.
The Argentine was handed another start against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday and he was one of Tottenham’s best players on the pitch, particularly in the first half.
The 29-year-old made things happen whenever he got on the ball and played a key part in the first goal, jinking past a few players before hitting the post, with Harry Kane in the right place to bury the rebound.
Moura, who started on the bench against the Croatians and came on for Son Heung-min in the 64th minute, has been deployed as a number ten by Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and has shown that he can be very effective in the position.
The Brazilian’s pace and directness has added a different layer to Tottenham’s star-studded attack which contains three world-class talents in Kane, Son and Bale.
Here’s what Roberts tweeted about Lamela and Moura after Spurs’ 2-0 win:
Want to give plenty of credit over the last month to @ErikLamela @LucasMoura7 there attitudes top class and both having big impacts on every game keep it up last not long to go let’s bring some trophies to the lane all the fans deserve it and especially all of you lads

Spurs Web Opinion
Lamela is arguably showing the best run of form we have seen from him in a few years. The likes of Dele Alli can seemingly drop several stinkers without attracting any criticism from fans and need only one good performance to have the supporters raving about them.
However, the likes of Lamela or Lucas never seem to get the credit they deserve for their displays while fans are quick to jump on them when they make mistakes or put in a sub-par performance.
