Graham Roberts has revealed that he has heard very good things about the man-management skills of new Tottenham head coach Nuno Espirito Santos.
Tottenham officially confirmed Nuno’s appointment yesterday, 72 days after Jose Mourinho’s sacking.
Fabio Paratici gave an interview to Spurs TV, explaining the more attacking approach that the 47-year-old employed during his time at Valencia and Porto, perhaps to ease potential fan fears of yet more defensive football.
Whether Nuno is able to deliver the ‘free-flowing, entertaining and attacking football’ promised by Daniel Levy remains to be seen but Roberts believes that the Portuguese coach is certainly capable of getting the best out of individuals.
Apart from wishing Nuno luck at N17, the legendary Spurs defender also seemingly hinted at player exits this summer by stating that ‘no player is bigger than Tottenham’ and that ‘it was time to move on’.
Good Luck Nuno I have been told you are a wonderful man manager I wish you good luck and COYS! No player is bigger then Tottenham Hotspur and it is time for us to move on and create the wonderful spirit again we had under Poch.

Spurs Web Opinion
Despite Levy’s promise of attacking football, it is clear that Paratici wanted to ensure that the team is defensively well organised first and foremost which is perhaps why he has erred on the side of caution by going for the Portuguese coach. I believe it is a positive sign that Levy has chosen to back Paratici’s judgement.
While reservations about Nuno’s style of play are not necessarily unfounded, he does seem to have a larger-than-life personality and humility needed to bring everyone at the club (including fans) together, which Spurs desperately need at this moment.
