Fabrizio Romano has urged Spurs fans to keep an eye on Gabriel Jesus in the remainder of the summer transfer window.
The transfer expert revealed that Jesus has always been a player offered to Tottenham as a makeweight in any potential Harry Kane transfer this summer, as well as Aymeric Laporte.
However, Romano also added Tottenham, up until this point, have been turning down any idea of a player-plus-cash swap for their star striker.
The Guardian reported that City were open to discussing a player-plus-money deal including the likes of Raheem Sterling, Aymeric Laporte or Gabriel Jesus.
Man City also reportedly bid £100m for Kane with no other players attached earlier this summer, but that was also rejected by the North London club.
On the latest episode of his Here We Go podcast, Romano stated: “Keep an eye on Gabriel Jesus.
“If Tottenham and ManCity do a Kane deal, Gabriel Jesus has always been one player offered to Tottenham. They have also been offering Laporte, Tottenham said no to players.
“Let’s see in the coming days.”
Spurs Web Opinion:
I would be interested in Laporte and Bernardo Silva in any potential deal for Kane, but only if the valuations were favourable. Gabriel Jesus is not someone that interests me in the slightest, I really do not rate his finishing or consistency very highly.
