Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed that Harry Kane has returned to team training at Hotspur Way in his press conference this afternoon.
The new Spurs head coach also revealed he had a conversation with the England captain, although the details of that talk were private. Nuno did add that Kane was now preparing himself for the season and ‘everything is okay’.
Asked whether he expected Kane to be a Tottenham player by the end of the transfer window, Nuno merely stated that the striker is here with the squad now and reiterated he remains a Spurs player.
Fabrizio Romano revealed this week that Man City are now preparing a brand new bid for Tottenham’s star man this summer, which could be worth around €150m. However, he acknowledged Spurs want to keep their man and have not received this new bid yet.
David Ornstein also told Sky Sports that Man City are not willing to pay £150m-£160m for Kane in this transfer window.
On talking with Kane, Nuno said: “Yeah, Harry joined the group today. He trained. We had a talk. Of course, it’s a private conversation, but everything is okay, he is preparing himself like Bryan, like Romero.”
On whether he expects Kane to remain a Spurs player, he said: “He’s here with us. He’s here with us. He’s a Tottenham player. He’s here with us. And we have to think about tomorrow.
“Let’s prepare the training session of tomorrow and we go day by day, but all the players that have worked with us are our players.”
"He is here with us and is a Tottenham player, all the players who have worked with us are our players."

Spurs Web Opinion:
It sounds very much as if Kane is up for sale if Man City can hit a certain price, otherwise Levy would be telling Nuno to shut down any talk of a potential transfer. I think £150m is the price and I can’t see Man City hitting it.
