Nuno Espirito Santo has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Wolverhampton Wanderers press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Nunoo answering questions prior to his return to Molineux for the first time since departing as their manager at the end of last season.
Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform with journalists still not able to attend Hotspur Way in person in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Tottenham head into the match against Wolves on the back of an embarrassing performance against Paços de Ferreira last night, with the Portuguese taking a 1-0 lead into next week’s second leg in North London.
Joe Rodon is still ruled out after picking up an injury during the cool-down session following the win against Manchester City on Sunday, despite not featuring in the match.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is also sidelined after picking up an ankle injury in European action last night.
Journalist, Jonathan Veal who was part of the press conference confirmed the news via his Twitter account.
Nuno said Cameron Carter-Vickers has suffered a bad ankle injury, which was the "worst possible thing" to happen, presumably with a possible exit in mind. #THFC
