Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Portuguese makes the trip north for the first time to face his former side after departing Molineux at the end of last season.
Wolves kicked off their 2021-22 top flight campaign with a 1-0 loss at Leicester City – they haven’t lost their first two games of a league season since 2003-04, their first ever season in the Premier League.
In their last meeting in May, Spurs won 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and are looking for consecutive Premier League wins over Wolves for the first time since winning both meetings in 2003-04.
The big news is that Harry Kane takes his place among the Spurs subs, his first involvement in a squad this season.
This is who takes to the field for Tottenham this afternoon:
Totteham Hotspur: Lloris (C), Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Dele, Lucas, Bergwijn, Son
Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Davies, Sessegnon, Winks, Lo Celso, Gil, Kane, Scarlett
