Sky Sports have claimed that Tottenham would like to add another winger to their squad before the transfer window shuts but would have to offload some players first in order to do so.
Despite Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn making promising starts to life under Nuno Espirito Santo and the club also securing the services of Bryan Gil from Sevilla, Tottenham continue to be linked with wide players heading into the final week of the transfer window.
Multiple sources claimed on Monday that Spurs have stepped their interest in signing Adama Traore on an initial loan deal with a view to making it permanent for £40m.
Ruben Kazan’s Kvicha Kvaratskhelia is another name that is rumoured to be on the North Londoners’ radar.
Sky Sports have now backed up that both Traore and Kvaratskhelia are options the Lilywhites are considering. The report reveals that Tottenham’s negotiations with Kazan for Kvaratskhelia are still in their early stages.
It is explained that Nuno’s men would first need to offload the likes of Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier before making an attacking addition.

Between Traore and Kvaratskhelia, I would certainly prefer the Wolves man even though he might cost double of what the 20-year-old would.
While Kvaratskhelia has a high ceiling, like Gil, he is a player for the future and there is a big question mark over how he will adapt to English football.
While Traore has some technical deficiencies that will likely prevent him from even being an elite attacker, he clearly has attributes that could make him a huge asset to any side.
