Wolverhampton Wanderers are remaining firm in their stance that Adama Traore is not for sale amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Telegraph.
The report claims that Tottenham had accelerated talks with Wolves earlier this week and were keen to take the player on loan with a view to the deal being made permanent.
Wolves baulked at Tottenham’s offer of a £5million fee to take the jet-heeled winger on loan and insisted that they are not interested in seeing him leave Molineux.
The Spanish international is said to be keen to reunite with Nuno Espirito Santo in North London, however, Wolves plan to advance contract talks with the 25-year-old once the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Traore currently has two years left to run on his current contract in the Black Country and his current situation has not changed Wolves’ standpoint that he is not for sale.
Nuno is reportedly keen to bring Traore to the club to add further pace and versatility to his attack, with the former Aston Villa player also able to operate as a support striker.

As we have seen with the Harry Kane saga, if a club is not prepared to sell, there is little the interested party can do unless they are prepared to break the bank to sign him.
Hopefully, Fabio Paratici has a number of alternative targets he is working on ahead of the window closing.
