Don Hutchison has blasted Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for his performance for France against Belgium.
Les Blues came from two goals down to beat Belgium in the UEFA Nations League semi-final to set up a finale clash against Spain.
Lloris, 34, settled well into the encounter in Turin, and made a stunning reflex stop to deny an opener from Kevin De Bruyne after just three minutes.
But the Spurs man was quickly in the firing line as Belgium went 2-0 up, with finishes from Yannick Carrasco and Romelu Lukaku both beating him at his near post.
He was wrong-footed by the Atletico winger, and was then left helpless by Lukaku’s high and powerful effort.
Fortunately for Lloris, Didier Deschamps’ side managed to produce a second-half comeback to stun the Red Devils, courtesy of goals from Karim Benzema, Kylian Mbappe and Theo Hernandez.
There was a hint of drama, though, when Lukaku thought he made it 3-2 to Belgium before Hernandez’s strike, but saw it ruled out for a marginal offside.
Former Liverpool midfielder Hutchison was left unimpressed with the way in which the Spurs and France captain conceded on Thursday, and took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Look at the first one again. The small deflection did not deviate the ball that much. Lloris gambled he was going far post and could not sort his feet….. #hugeerror https://t.co/QtnuFIJEqY

You honestly think this is NOT a GK error mate. You cannot get beaten from there……. https://t.co/OrDCEq8VpS pic.twitter.com/j336AU3bL8

Spurs Web Opinion
Lloris was caught wrong-footed for the opener but the second was tough to stop as Lukaku fired it high and with power. His save early on prevented France from going 1-0 much quicker, and he made a couple of good stops later in the match to keep his side in the game.
