Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have not given up their pursuit of Wolves winger Adama Traore.
Traore is thought to be Tottenham’s number one target for the right wing-back role in Antonio Conte’s system (Telegraph).
While it was initially reported by 90 min that Wolves were open to cashing on the pacy wide man, it has been suggested over recent days (by Duncan Castles on the Transfer Window Podcast) that the 25-year-old is not close to leaving the Molineux Stadium.
The Spaniard is also alleged to be on Barcelona’s radar, with the Catalan giants thought to be keen on a summer deal (Sport).
However, Romano has now revealed that Tottenham remain in the race for Traore’s signature and are trying to snap him up before the transfer window shuts.
The journalist added that Bruno Lage is pushing to keep the wide man at Wolves until the end of the season.
Romano also claimed that Spurs are working on deals to sell Tanguy Ndombele, Matt Doherty, Steven Bergwijn and Dele Alli. However, since that tweet, Bergwijn scored a brace for Spurs against Leicester and is reportedly no longer up for sale (Daily Express).
Tottenham are still trying to sign Adama Traoré in January. Wolves manager Bruno Lage's pushing to keep him until the end of the season – Spurs want to give Conte a new winger as he asked.

Spurs Web Opinion
The reason I am reasonably confident that Spurs will push through a deal for Traore this month is because of the fact that we have not been heavily linked with any other right wing-backs.
So, it seems like the club are not working on any other alternatives to the 25-year-old. That suggests that they expect to seal the Spaniard’s signing.
