CalcioMercato have revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Paulo Dybala has been left angered by Juventus’ decision to postpone the talks regarding a new contract.
Over recent weeks, some sources have established Spurs as one of the leading contenders to land Dybala in the summer when his contract with Juventus runs out (Sport).
It was previously reported that Juventus were set to sit down with the Argentine’s entourage this week to restart talks over a new deal (Gazzetta dello Sport).
Apart from Spurs, the likes of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan were also said to be monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation (Calciomercato.it).
CalcioMercato have now revealed that the Old Lady have decided to postpone their negotiations with Dybala’s camp regarding a new contract.
It is alleged that this move has generated ‘great anger’ in the former Palermo man, who could ‘clash with the club’.
The report adds that this might be the final nail in the coffin regarding Dybala’s future at the Allianz Stadium, with Inter thought to be ready to pounce.
Spurs Web Opinion
Based on the information presented by various sources over the last few weeks, it sounds like we are going to see some movement regarding Dybala’s future, one way or the other, over the coming weeks.
If the Argentine’s talks with Juve collapse, there will likely be a long queue of clubs lining up to snap him up as a free agent. So, there could be a major scramble for the 28-year-old’s signature over the next few months.
