TuttoMercatoWeb have claimed that Manchester United are Paulo Dybala’s most likely destination during the summer transfer window.
Dybala is expected to leave Juventus when his contract runs out at the end of the season (Transfermarkt), with some reports over recent weeks naming Spurs as one of the front-runners for the Argentine’s signature (Foot Mercato).
TMW have now explored the various options on the Juve star’s table ahead of the summer. The report claims the 28-year-old would prefer to join a big club abroad rather than a Serie A side.
It is explained that no offer has been forthcoming from Italian clubs for Dybala despite interest from both AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, in Spain, it is said that Real Madrid are prioritising other targets while Barcelona do not consider the Juve forward a priority. Atletico Madrid allegedly prefer signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez over Dybala.
TMW go on to add that the 28-year-old thus seems bound for a move to the Premier League. Regarding Tottenham, the report states that Dybala is not ‘a concrete goal’ for the North London club.
It is asserted that the forward might fit in at United as part of the Erik Ten Hag revolution next season and that a move to Old Trafford would thus be the most ‘plausible’ option for Dybala.
Spurs Web Opinion
I suspect we will see plenty more twists and turns in the Dybala saga over the next few months. However, I would be really surprised if Spurs get involved in the race for the Argentine as we do not need a player of his profile as much as some other teams do, particularly given the impact Kulusevski has made.
