Tottenham are planning to increase their transfer activity this week with Antonio Conte hopeful of adding more new signings before the club embarks on its pre-season tour of South Korea, according to the Evening Standard.
The Italian coach is keen for Spurs to finalise the rest of their summer business before the weekend to allow any incoming players to be on board with his preparations ahead of the new campaign.
The squad’s non-international players reported for pre-season on Monday, joining five players who returned last week to continue working back up to speed after suffering respective injuries (Football.London).
Spurs jet off on July 9 to take part in the Coupang Play Series against Team K League – an all-star squad comprised of players from South Korea’s top flight – and Spanish outfit Sevilla.
But until then, the club still has some outstanding moves it will likely want to address.
Tottenham remain in talks with Barcelona over centre-back Clement Lenglet with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claiming both sides are putting the finishing touches on a season-long loan deal.
Meanwhile, Spurs are also said to be close to securing the £15 million capture of Middlesbrough wing-back Djed Spence after negotiations stalled over the 21-year-old’s valuation (Daily Mail).

Conte has been pretty clear with getting business done early and it makes complete sense given he wants each of his players all on the same page.
There are a few days left for things to happen before then and the Spence and Lenglet moves appear to be very close, but Spurs may surprise us by completing another quick-fire deal too.
