The timing and dates of some of Tottenham‘s fixtures for October have been amended for television coverage, the club have now confirmed.
We are now less than a week away from the start of the new campaign, which promises to be an exciting one for Spurs as they try to close the gap with Manchester City and Liverpool.
Antonio Conte’s took on AS Roma in their final pre-season friendly of the summer yesterday evening with the focus now fully turning to the club’s opening game of the season as Southampton travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Spurs have a tricky start to the campaign since they play Chelsea, West Ham and Manchester City within their first seven games of the campaign.
Tottenham will begin October with a north London derby at the Emirates Stadium against their fierce rivals, Arsenal, and the club have now confirmed that the fixture has been moved to a lunchtime kick-off.
Here are Spurs’ full revised schedule for the month of October:
Arsenal (A) – remains Saturday 1 October, kick-off now 12.30 pm – BT Sport
Brighton & Hove Albion (A) – remains Saturday 8 October, kick-off now 5.30 pm – Sky Sports
Everton (H) – remains Saturday 15 October, kick-off now 5.30 pm – Sky Sports
Manchester United (A) – remains Wednesday 19 October, kick-off now 8.15 pm – Amazon Prime Video
Newcastle United (H) – remains Saturday 22 October, kick-off now 5.30 pm – Sky Sports
Spurs Web Opinion
I am not a fan of having north London derbies played at lunchtime as the atmosphere is usually unreal when there is a delayed kick-off. It feels like our clash at the Emirates is almost always an early kick-off and our record there has been extremely poor recently.
