Jamie Carragher said during commentary that he felt Richarlison was milking a foul against Nottingham Forest but the pundit stopped short of criticising the Brazilian, citing how his past comments have been received.
Carragher and Richarlison were involved in some verbal mudslinging towards the end of last season when the former Liverpool defender had some choice words about what he saw as playacting from the forward.
The pundit said during the Merseyside derby back in May (Sky Sports via Liverpool Echo) about the former Toffees star: “Honestly, get up, every week I watch him play like that! Get up, carry on. He’s been down three times already, [there’s] nothing wrong with him.”
Richarlison then took to social media to take a shot back at Carragher.

The former Everton man came on as a substitute in the 74th minute of Tottenham’s clash at the City Ground on Sunday and he set up Spurs’ and Harry Kane’s second goal with an inch-perfect cross with the outside of his right foot.
A few minutes later, Carragher felt that Richarlison was feigning injury to run down the clock but the 44-year-old saw the funny side of it and joked about the repercussions if he spoke his mind.
Carragher said on Sky Sports (broadcast on 28/8; 18:03): “Honestly I’m not saying anything. I’m not getting in trouble with Tottenham fans and Everton fans over him.
“It looked like he had been caught initially between his legs and that can be painful. But it was so long until he went down. What am I going to do with him?”
However, Carragher and Richarlison seemed to have put their issues behind them, with the two seen embracing after the full-time whistle.

Spurs Web Opinion
There is no doubt that Richarlison loves winding up the opposition and Spurs fans will come to love the Brazilian if they do not already.
While I am not a fan of the kind of showboating he did against Forest, I have to admit that seeing how it has riled so many people up (particularly Arsenal fans), has brought a smile to my face.
