Tottenham head into the break against David Moyes’ side currently 1-0 ahead courtesy o Thilo Kehrer’s own goal.
Hugo Lloris: Tested a couple of times early on and was thankful to see Antonio’s effort to come off the outside of the post. 6.
Emerson Royal: Stung the hands of Fabianski with a shot early on, has done ok. 6.
Davinson Sanchez: Booked for clattering into Fornals after twenty minutes when dragged out of position by the West Ham player. Still so very unsure when in possession. 5.
Eric Dier: Has done well in the middle of the central trio, has been looking to either play long on occasion, needs more options from his midfield. 7.
Ben Davies: Has looked to get forward and overload the left-hand side with Perisic when allowed. The pair have linked up well. 6.
Ivan Perisic: Made space for himself and played a deft ball into the box for Kane’s opportunity which was overturned by VAR. Has been superb at both ends of the pitch. 7.
Yves Bissouma: Came in for his first start in place of Bentancur. Was foolishly booked for slamming the ball into the ground in frustration after tangling with Bowen off the ball. Guilty of giving the ball away on a couple of occasions but in fairness has Sanchez and Royal to try to connect with on the right. 5.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Has done ok up against West Ham’s midfield, ran out of legs on the counter attack just before half time. 6.
Dejan Kulusevski: A typical driving run from the Swede on the counter to feed Kane to cause the own goal. 7.
Heung-min Son: Inches away from his first goal of the season which was turned into his own net by Kehrer. Had a good opportunity after being released by Kane but his headed touch was too heavy. 5.
Harry Kane: Has often found himself dropping deep looking to find team-mates in behind, brilliantly released Kulusevski down the right for the goal and superbly found Son for the South Korean’s wasted effort. 7.
