Tottenham head into the break against Jurgen Klopp’s side currently 2-0 behind as a result of a Mo Salah double.
Hugo Lloris: Put a strong hand out to stop Nunez’s early shot, could do little to stop the second. Slightly lucky to see his clearance not fall to the feet of the Egyptian moments later. 6.
Emerson Royal: Needs to get tighter to Nunez and stop showing him inside, also guilty of giving Robertson too much space for the opening goal. 5.
Eric Dier: It was never on for Dier to head back to Lloris with Salah ready to pounce and the defender got it horribly wrong. 5.
Clement Lenglet: Attracted to the ball which saw Salah score his first in too much space. 6.
Ben Davies: Nothing special, as usual. 6.
Ryan Sessegnon: Can feel harshly done that he did not win his side a penalty following Alexander-Arnold’s push. 6.
Rodrigo Bentancur: Another industrious in midfield from the Uruguayan. 7.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Had a shot on target early on, was looking slightly leggy as the half wore on. 6.
Yves Bissouma: Has done well in the middle of the park despite the scoreline. 6.
Ivan Perisic: Has done well to try to support Kane up top and saw his header come back off the post. 6.
Harry Kane: Played a pinpoint cross onto the head of Perisic, only for the Croatian to see his effort cannon off the post. 6.
