Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed a new date for their Premier League clash against Manchester City.
The fixture was originally scheduled to take place at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 10 September, 2022, however the game was postponed as part of a mark of respect following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II just two days prior.
Antonio Conte’s side will now instead travel to the Premier League champions on Thursday 19 January, 2023, with kick-off at 8pm.
Spurs will face Arsenal in the north London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just four days prior to the City match and will also take on Fulham at Craven Cottage four days after they play Pep Guardiola’s team in what is proving to be a hectic January schedule.

Taking on City just four days after facing Arsenal is not ideal, the north London derby is always a physically and emotionally draining affair and the prospect of City on their home turf just 96 hours later could not have come at a worse time.
Spurs, however, have a respectable record against Pep’s team with Harry Kane having put in a remarkable display in last season’s fixture to secure a dramatic late win.
