The Telegraph have reported that Tottenham are expected to charge other Premier League clubs around £100m for Harry Kane this summer, despite his contract running down. 

The 29-year-old’s current contract is set to expire in June 2024, meaning he would be entering the final year of his deal this summer (TransferMarkt).

Daniel Levy is thought to be keen on maintaining a high asking price for the England captain, despite his contract situation, although that £100m price tag will likely drop for overseas clubs.

90 min reported this week that Tottenham remain confident of reaching an agreement with Kane over a new contract, with Bayern Munich still interested in the Spurs number 10.

The Telegraph also claim that only two things can convince Kane to remain at Tottenham, qualifying for the Champions League again or winning a trophy.

It remains to be seen whether Kane will push for a move this summer and whether any Premier League club would be willing to shell out £100m for the striker.

Spurs Web Opinion:

You would not expect any club to pay £100m when they could realistically just wait and sign Kane on a free the next summer. Either Spurs will refuse to sell and he will leave on a free, they will drop the price tag and sell him, or he will sign a new contract.
