According to talkSPORT, Pedro Porro has created three times as many chances this season than Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty combined.
With Antonio Conte often sacrificing the midfield battle at Tottenham by playing a 3-4-3, the Lilywhites are heavily reliant on their wing-backs to provide the creativity.

Ivan Perisic’s arrival in the summer has made a marked difference on the left-hand side, even though the Croat has struggled defensively at times this season.
Conte will be hoping that the arrival of Porro has a similar impact on the right and the stats certainly seem to suggest that the Spaniard will do just that.
It has been revealed by talkSPORT that Porro has six assists to his name and has created 34 chances at Sporting so far this season, which is three times as many as all of Tottenham’s right wing-backs combined this campaign.
The 23-year-old has also attempted 107 crosses and has completed 16 take-ons in total across 2022/23.

While it might not be fair to compare stats between the Premier League and the Portuguese top-flight, it is clear that Porro would offer a lot more in the final third owing to his crossing and one vs one ability than either Emerson or Doherty.
The Spaniard’s ability to beat players and carry the ball will also free up some space for Kulusevski as teams would not be able to double up on the Swede any longer.
