Here’s how we rated the Spurs players following the opening forty-five minutes of action against Leicester City this evening in the Premier League fixture at the King Power Stadium.

Tottenham head into the break against Brendan Rodgers’ side currently trailing 3-1 despite having taken the lead through Rodrigo Bentancur.

Fraser Forster: Replaced the injured Hugo Lloris in goal for his second PL appearance of the season.  Could do little to have stopped Mendy’s screamer and Maddison’s.  Got down well to deny Iheanacho 6.

Pedro Porro: Making his Spurs debut and has left a lot of space in behind down the right, needs to improve his defensive positioning.  Not the best of debuts. 4.

Japhet Tanganga: Took his place on the right of the central trio with Romero suspended, the best of the back three. 5.

Eric Dier: Caught way out of position which left the space in behind for Leicester to take the lead through Maddison. 3.

Ben Davies: Played a terrible pass which led to Maddison’s goal, has to be doing better. 4.

Ivan Perisic: Really should have hit the target when Kane played him through on goal. His early set-piece delivery was good but should have done more to close down Mendy for the equaliser.  Went backwards the more the half went on. 4.

Rodrigo Bentancur: Booked inside the first four minutes for a clumsy challenge on Barnes  Found himself in the right place at the right time when Kristiansen’s clearance saw the Uruguayan tap home from close range. 7.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Not as impactful as last weekend. 6.

Harry Kane Played a brilliant pass to release Perisic down the left, has been coming deep to try to get things moving. 7.

Dejan Kulusevski: A disappointing half from the Swede, his first touch has been poor. 5.

Heung-min Son: After a bright start against Man City, he has done nothing of note today. 5.
