A report from The Sun has revealed former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro was spotted at the San Siro for the game between AC Milan and Spurs, with the ex-player joining in with the away supporters chanting about Arsenal.
Sandro played for Spurs between 2010 and 2014, racking up 106 appearances for the club and scoring three goals from central midfield (Transfermarkt).
The Brazilian achieved something of a cult status among the Spurs supporters at the time, for his combative and highly passionate displays on the field.
He was also well known for his enthusiasm off the field and has publicly retained an interest in Tottenham since leaving the club.
Spurs took on AC Milan on Tuesday night in the first leg of their second round Champions League tie.
Milan won the game 1-0, with the second leg set to be played at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on March 8, 2023.
Fans may not have had much joy watching the game, but a section of supporters certainly kept themselves entertained as they spotted Sandro among the crowd and got him to join in with some chants.
Supporters will be happy to know that Sandro has not lost any of his eccentricity, and he further endeared himself to the Spurs faithful with some choice words about rivals Arsenal on Tuesday.
When one fan asked him what he thought of Arsenal, Sandro replied: “S**t!” The fans then asked Sandro what he thinks is s**t and he responded: “Arsenal!”
Sandro was then seen laughing with fans and embracing those around him.

There’s one way to a Spurs fan’s heart, and that is to criticise Arsenal at every opportunity!
