Football Insider have revealed that the Tottenham hierarchy do not believe that Harry Kane’s future is closely tied to that of Antonio Conte.
Conte’s current contract at Spurs runs out at the end of the season and predictions over recent days have indicated that the Italian is expected to part ways with the North London club at the end of the season (Sky Sport Italia via Tutto Juve).

Some Spurs fans might fear that Conte’s potential departure would have an impact on Kane’s future, with the striker now into the final 18 months of his contract, and with Bayern Munich and Manchester United circling (Telegraph).
However, Football Insider have now said that Tottenham are ‘confident’ that the England captain’s future will not be dictated by whether the 53-year-old stays at the club beyond the end of the season.
The report explains that the club previously feared that the 29-year-old will not commit his future if the Italian leaves the club.
However, the Lilywhites do not believe that is the case any longer, with one source describing the development as a ‘huge’ boost to Tottenham’s hopes of renewing the striker’s deal.

While Kane’s future might not be directly tied to Conte’s, I do not think the striker will be in a hurry to sign a new contract. He might want to wait until the summer to see which manager the club appoint next (if Conte departs) and whether the club show ambition in the transfer market.
