Tottenham Hotspur have climbed back into the top four in the Premier League and now have a good chance to cement their place there, as we look at their next five games compared to the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle, and Liverpool.
Despite a frustrating and inconsistent season which has seen Tottenham fail to string together a good run of results, the North London side managed to leapfrog Newcastle and reclaim a top-four spot over the weekend.
An impressive 2-0 win over West Ham on Sunday, combined with Newcastle’s defeat against Liverpool, makes the race for a place in the top four all the more interesting now. While Arsenal and Manchester City lead the pack, Manchester United are third and hold a seven-point gap over Spurs in fourth.
Newcastle are currently one point behind Spurs and have a game in hand. Liverpool may be further down in eighth, behind Fulham and Brighton, but Jurgen Klopp’s side appear to be resurgent of late and could make a push for the Champions League spots in the back half of the season.

Spurs Web Opinion
We have a really nice run of fixtures here, and once we get the Chelsea game out of the way you’d hope we can really press on and take maximum points.
The rest of the top four are set to play each other over the next month, too, which means someone is dropping points somewhere, and we have to capitalise on that.
