TalkSPORT host Alan Brazil has heard that Mauricio Pochettino will replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham at the end of the season.
Amidst the uncertainty surrounding Conte’s future at Spurs, multiple publications over the past few months have reported on the possibility of Pochettino returning to the club (Daily Mail).
Dean Jones was the latest to report on the matter in his recent GiveMeSport column, explaining that the Italian is not going anywhere until the end of the season.
The journalist added that if Conte and Tottenham part ways in the summer, Daniel Levy is open to the idea of bringing Pochettino back to the club but other senior figures at Spurs are not fans of the plan.
Besides, it has also emerged over the last couple of days that Chelsea have approached Pochettino to replace Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge, with the 51-year-old said to be open to the idea (Football Insider).
Revealing what he has heard about the situation, Brazil has now told talkSPORT (02/03/23 from 6:00 onwards): “I don’t think Antonio Conte will be there next season.
“I don’t know what is going to happen.
“They tell me Poch would be straight back in that job.”

Even putting the emotional aspect aside (which is difficult, as I, like many Spurs fans, love Pochettino as a man), it is clear to me that the Argentine would be one of the best men for the job if Conte leaves at the end of the season.
The fact that he already knows the club and many of the players is an added bonus.
